Leyla earned her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Mount Carmel College of Nursing and is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She brings a thoughtful and evidence‑based approach to primary care, focusing on prevention, chronic disease management, and empowering patients through education.

ICU Registered Nurse Experience

Before becoming an NP, Leyla spent several years as a Registered Nurse in high‑acuity intensive care environments, including:

  • Mount Carmel Health, Columbus 

  • Emory Health, Decatur, GA 

In these roles, she cared for critically ill patients with complex medical and multi‑organ conditions. Her responsibilities included advanced ventilator management, medication titration, rapid emergency response, and close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
 

This surgical‑precision skill set strengthens her ability to recognize urgent conditions, provide safe high‑quality care, and remain calm and analytical under pressure.
